Storytelling for Digital Transformation (10SMDSI_ST)

Description

Conveying the complex and abstract concepts of digital topics like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, drones, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, Quantum Computing is often challenging. As a result, society struggles to grasp and evaluate the true benefits and risks of new technologies, which are frequently portrayed as either miraculous solutions to all kinds of problems or impending disasters. More nuanced counter-narratives are needed that transfer accurate information. Storytelling is a tool that can help break down complex concepts into relatable, understandable narratives that can address the prevailing lack of digital literacy in society. In this course, we aim to equip students with communication skills that will enable them to educate others in making informed judgments about digital transformation topics.
