SDG Summer School Planetary Health July 2024

Embark on a Global Innovation Journey with SDG Summer School 2024 in Geneva. The school is at the core of the SDG Olympiad innovation cycle, an annual competition for youth enabling youth-driven social and environmental impact. At the SDG Summer School, student teams learn to use open-source tools, citizen science methodologies, and AI solutions to generate data for tracking progress in their communities towards the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The School is designed for Bachelor and Master's students which are interested in sustainable development and global health issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The theme of the 2024 edition of the SDG Summer School is “Planetary Health” with a focus on the impact of climate change on human health. 

Students will be provided with a Certificate of Completion from the Geneva Summer Schools at University of Geneva, stating the course is worth 6 ECTS.

If you are currently enrolled as a UZH bachelor or master student, you are eligible for three stipends covering tuition fees, travel costs and accommodation in Geneva.
