Call for Submissions: Teaching Tools for Bridging Science and Societal Partners

The Swiss Young Academy (SYA), in collaboration with the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, warmly invites lecturers, educators and educational developers at higher education institutions to submit concrete teaching tools for an add-on to the td-net toolbox – an established collection of methods and tools for co-producing knowledge.

They are looking for single, practical teaching tools that can be readily integrated into existing courses. These might include learning activities, stakeholder engagement methods, innovative assessment approaches, facilitation techniques or other transferable pedagogical resources. The focus is on learning at the science–society interface, ideally by engaging students directly with societal actors such as the public sector, private sector or civil society organisations. Contributions should also be designed so that educators from other disciplines can adapt the tool to their own teaching context.
