Global Young Scientist Summit 2027

The Global Young Scientist Summit brings together outstanding young researchers with leading scientific minds — including Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, Millennium Technology Prize, and Turing Award laureates — to discuss science and technology trends, emerging global challenges, and interdisciplinary research. The summit is a multi-disciplinary event that covers topics including chemistry, physics, medicine, mathematics, computer science and engineering. UZH nominates three Early Career Researchers to participate at the summit.

The summit is targeted at early career researchers in the fields of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Physiology/Medicine, Mathematics, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Computer and Information Sciences, and Applied Sciences and Engineering. The 2027 edition, themed "Advancing Science, Creating Technologies for a Better World," will take place over four days and include lectures, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and small-group mentoring sessions with laureates.
